My work represents my perception of the interconnectivity of life including human, plant, animal and the sacred. By studying ecology from multiple perspectives it came into clear focus the need to pay attention to climate change. Doing so challenges the impermanence of life as we know it. Through my work I explore how the human condition plays a role in the disconnection within society which includes racism and discrimination. Creating boundaries automatically excludes or separates humans physically and psychologically further solidifying our differences. This is my motivation to examine both the inner and the outer elements of life experience. I expect my work and perspective will continue to evolve and change.
